Biographical Information

Toshiyoshi Norikae was drafted by the Nishitetsu Lions in the 2nd round of the 1968 NPB draft, and he went 0-5 with a 5.88 ERA in 1970. He only pitched 3 games combined in the next two seasons, and he had a 4.50 ERA in 12 games in 1973. The Lions then traded him to the Hiroshima Carp for Tamotsu Nagai, and his ERA was 1.50 in 10 games in 1974. He didn't reach the big club in 1975, and he announced his retirement.
