Biographical Information

Toshio Koya signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1957, and he only got 4 appearances combined in his first two seasons. He had a 4.36 ERA in 25 games in 1958, and he allowed 7 runs in 4 innings in 1960. Koya led the Eastern League in wins in 1961, but he didn't reach the big club and he announced his retirement.
