Biographical Information

Toshimitsu Higa was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 3rd round of the 2003 NPB draft, but he only played 8 games for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2009. When he took Mike Holtz deep in his first at-bat, he became the 46th NPB player to homer in their first at-bat; it was his lone home run in NPB.
