Biographical Information

Toshiharu Nagare was drafted by the Hankyu Braves in the 2nd round of the 1966 NPB draft, and he only pitched 2 games combined in his first four seasons. He recorded a 3.00 ERA in 5 games in 1971, and he went 1-1 with a 2.86 ERA in 1972. Nagare failed to return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 1976. He then scouted for the Orix BlueWave/Orix Buffaloes from 1993 to 2014, and he coached Nagasaki International University in 2016.
