Biographical Information[edit]
Tomonori Kitagawa dominated the Kanagawa University Baseball League, and he collected 553 strikeouts and 36 wins with 3 no-hitters in his college career. He was drafted by the Orix BlueWave in the 7th round of the 2000 NPB draft, and he was 0-1 with a 3.66 ERA in his first season. He had a 0-3 record with a 4.22 ERA in 4 starts in 2002, and his ERA was 7.43 in 10 relief outings in 2003. Kitagawa only got 4 appearances in 2004, and he announced his retirement in 2011.
