Biographical Information

Tomohiro Tsuchiya was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 5th round of the 2009 NPB draft, and he only pitched 3 innings in 2010. He allowed 7 runs in 12 innings in 2011, and he had a 1.04 ERA in 8 appearances in 2012. However, Tsuchiya only pitched 5 games in 2013, and he announced his retirement. He had also gone 9-6 with 8 saves and a 3.57 ERA in the Japanese minors.
