Biographical Information[edit]
Tomohide Shichino was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 6th round of the 1999 NPB draft, but he only played 3 games the big club in his first two seasons. He was the first Eastern League player to hit 2 homers in the same inning, and he also held the single-inning RBI record with 7. Shichino hit .097/.152/.258 in 24 games in 2002, and didn't reach the top team again before he announced his retirement in 2004.
