Biographical Information

Toichiro Sobue signed with the Taiyo in 1942, and he hit .160/.226/.217 in 46 games in his first season. He had a .140/.204/.170 batting line in 28 games in 1943, and he left the team. Sobue returned in 1950 with the Mainichi Orions as a pitcher, and he had a 6.92 ERA in 5 games. He only pitched 2 games in 1951, and he announced his retirement.
