Biographical Information[edit]

Todd Lavalley pitched professionally from 1992 to 1994. He was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as an undrafted free agent.

With the Yakima Bears his first year, he went 4-3 with a 4.39 ERA in 16 games (5 starts). He shifted to the independent Duluth-Superior Dukes in 1993 and 1994, going 4-4 with a 3.98 ERA in 83 2/3 innings the former year and 1-6, 6.11 in 53 innings the latter. He was one of just five Northern League pitchers to toss a shutout in 1993.

Overall, he went 9-13 with a 4.69 ERA in 48 games (26 starts). In 192 innings, he allowed 188 hits and 82 walks (1.406 WHIP), while striking out 122 batters.
