Thomas Benoist pitched in Division Elite and for the French national team.
Debuting in 1999, he was 0-2 with a 11.48 ERA for France Équipe Fédérale. He still made France's team for the 1999 European Championship; he had a rough time, allowing 4 runs in 1/3 IP (3 H, BB, K). France won the Bronze, though, for their first medal ever in a European Championship. He was 2-2 with a 7.26 ERA for the 2000 Savigny Lions and had a 7.20 ERA for them in 2001. He then was a two-way player in the French minors from 2002-2022 for the Vauréal Squales.
