Biographical Information[edit]
Tetsuzo Arita was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 8th round of the 1967 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first three seasons. He had a 2.08 ERA in 4 games in 1971, but his ERA rose to 8.03 in 6 games in 1972. Arita pitched 7 games with a 4.82 ERA in 1973, and he announced his retirement. His brother Shuzo Arita also played in NPB.
