Biographical Information

Tetsuaki Maedomari signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1979, and he went 2-7 with a 5.28 ERA in 1981. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in the next two seasons, and he recorded a 4.15 ERA in 12 relief outings in 1984. Maedomari's ERA was 4.15 in 29 appearances in 1985, but he failed to return to the big club in 1986 and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Maedomari went 2-10 with a 4.85 ERA, struck out 90 and pitched 165 innings in 3 seasons in NPB.
