Biographical Information

Ted Tom has been a college coach and a minor league manager.

Tom was All-American Mideast Conference as a college player. He was assistant coach at Indiana University in 2005-2006 and an outfield instructor at IMG Baseball Academies in 2007. From 2008-2014, he was head coach of his alma mater, going 16-29 his first year. They were 25-30 in 2009 then 30-30 in 2010, when he won AMC Coach of the Year. He was an assistant coach at University of Cincinnati in 2015-2017 and University of Central Florida in 2018-2025.

Tom moved to the pro ranks as manager of the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 2026.
