Biographical Information

Tatsuki Koja has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Koja was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the first round of the 2023 NPB draft after they lost the lottery for the right to Hayato Tsunehiro and Yugo Maeda; the scout was Toshiyuki Hesaka. He debuted against the Nippon Ham Fighters on May 25, 2024, and he got his first strikeout against Ryota Isobata. Koja ended up 5-8 with a 4.32 ERA in 15 starts in his rookie year, and he got a vote in the CL Rookie of the Year Voting.

Koja's repertoire included a fastball (peak 95.1 mph), a slider, forkball and changeup.
