Biographical Information

Taro Hamuro signed with the Orix BlueWave in 1988, but he only got 10 at-bats combined before the BlueWave traded him to the Yokohama BayStars for Katsuhiro Hiratsuka. He didn't reach the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 1997. Hamuro later became the assistant batting coach for the BayStars in 1998 to 2010, and he was the minor league battery coach for teh Orix Buffaloes from 2011 to 2013.
