Biographical Information

Tamon Yamamoto signed with the Nankai Hawks in 1966, and he played 59 games with a .227/.265/.227 batting line in his first season. He was 6-for-38 in 1967, and he went 2-for-14 in 1968. Yamamoto had a 3-for-27 record in 1969, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Yamamoto hit .188/.227/.210 with 33 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
