Biographical Information

Takumi Numata signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2013, and he was 1-2 with a 5.46 ERA in 2014 for the AZL Dodgers. He didn't pitch in 2015, and the Dodgers released him. Numata then played for the Gunma Diamond Pegasus from 2015 to 2016, and he went to the Ishikawa Million Stars in 2017. The Yakult Swallows picked him in the 8th round of the 2017 NPB draft, and he pitched one game with a run allowed in 2018. He didn't reach the big club in 2019, and he announced his retirement.
