Biographical Information[edit]
Takuma Uchima was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 4th round of the 2020 NPB draft; the scout was Yoshinori Okihara. He had a 5.91 ERA in 21 appearances in 2021, and he only pitched one game with the big club in 2022. He was 3-0 with a 3.88 ERA in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and the Hiroshima Carp selected him in the 2023 NPB Active draft. However, Uchima spent his 2024 seasons in the minors, and the Carp released him. He signed with the Ottawa Titans in 2025.
