Biographical Information[edit]
Takuma Hayashi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Hayashi represented Japan in the 2022 Haarlem Baseball Week. He hit .368/.455/.368; his 7 hits tied Johnny Gregorius, Ricardo Paolini, Wyatt Langford and Darren Seferina for third. The Yokohama BayStars selected him in the third round of the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Yuji Yoshimi. He hit .206/.235/.241 in 65 games in 2023, and he had a .167/.232/.235 batting line in 63 games in 2024. He appeared in 4 games in the 2024 Nippon Series as the backup second baseman behind Shugo Maki, and the BayStars beat the Softbank Hawks in 6 games.
