Biographical Information

Takuji Yamamoto was drafted by the Orix BlueWave in the 7th round of the 2001 NPB draft, and he had a 3.14 ERA in 28 relief outings in 2002. His ERA rose to 9.64 in 26 appearances in 2003, and he never reached the big club again before he announced his retirement in 2005.
