Biographical Information

Takehiro Hasegawa has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Hasegawa was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 6th round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Seiya Kumazaki. He pitched 2 shutout innings in 2022, and he had a 1.08 ERA in 9 appearances in 2023. The Fukuoka Softbank Hawks then selected him in the 2023 NPB Active draft, and he recorded a 2.49 ERA in 32 relief outings in 2024. He pitched a shutout inning in the 2024 Nippon Series, but the Hawks lost to the Yokohama BayStars in 6 games. Hasegawa underwent Tommy John surgery in 2025, and he missed the entire season.
