Biographical Information

Takatomi Sogawa hit .293 with 7 homers and 2 Best Nine awards in his college career, and he was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 6th round of the 1999 NPB draft. He mainly stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first five seasons, and he only got 9 at-bats combined for the big club. Sogawa was 3-for-16 in 2005, and he had a 2-for-8 record in 2006. He didn't reach the big club in 2007, then he announced his retirement.
