Biographical Information

Takashi Hida hit .319 in 56 games in his college career, and he set the Kansai Big 6 University Baseball League record with a 24-game hitting streak. He was drafted by the Orix BlueWave in the 6th round of the 2001 NPB draft, but he only got 14 at-bats for the big club before he announced his retirement.
