Biographical Information

Takamasa Oki played for the Kagawa Olive Guyners from 2013 to 2015. He hit .192/.236/.212 for the Shikoku Island All-Stars in the '15 Canadian-American Association. He was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the first round of the development phase in the 2015 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first season. He was 2-for-13 with the top team in 2017, but he only played one more game for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2019. In the NPB minors, the infielder had hit .247/.315/.295.
