Biographical Information

Takamasa Kasai played for the Shinano Grandserows in 2016, and he was drafted by the Yokohama DeNA BayStars in the first round of the development phase in the 2016 NPB draft. He only pitched 2 games combined for the big club in his first two seasons, and he recorded a 4.03 ERA in 16 relief outings in 2019. He was sent to Australia after that season, and he was 0-2 with a 3.65 ERA for the Canberra Cavalry in the 2019-2020 ABL. However, Kasai only pitched2 more innings for the top team, and he announced his retirement in 2021.
