Biographical Information[edit]
Taisei Yoshida represented Japan in the 2016 Haarlem Baseball Week, hitting .304/.467/.304 with 7 walks and 6 runs in 8 games for the runners-up, fielding .931. He was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 8th round the 2018 NPB draft, and he hit .188/.316/.219 in 13 games in 2019. He was 1-for-9 in 2020, and he had a .225/.392/.325 batting line in 18 games in 2021. Yoshida stayed in the minors for the entire 2022 season, and he announced his retirement. He later became a scout, signing Yuki Ishihara.
