Biographical Information

Taisei Yanagawa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Yanagawa was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 3rd round of the development phase in the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Takaya Hayashi. He only pitched 3 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2022, then he improved to a 1.72 ERA in 13 appearances in 2023. Yanagawa collected 8 saves with a 4.09 ERA in 21 appearances in 2024, and he was 8th in saves in the Pacific League (between Yuki Matsumoto and Yoshihisa Hirano.
