Biographical Information

Taisei Tsurusaki has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Tsurusaki was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 3rd round of the 2019 NPB draft, the scout was Fumitoshi Takano. He joined Rakuten's bullpen as a rookie, and he notched one hold with a 4.19 ERA in 33 relief outings in 2020. However, Tsurusaki's ERA rose to 5.06 in 11 games in 2021, and he had a 4.50 ERA in 11 appearances in 2022. Tsurusaki missed most of the 2023 season due to elbow injury, and he struggled again in 2024 as his ERA was 6.85 in 14 relief outings. He pitched 17 games with a 3.62 ERA in 2025.
