Biographical Information

Taichi Yamano has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Yamano was 5-0 with 51 strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA in 2019 spring season, and he won the MVP of the Sendai Big-Six Universities Baseball League. He was 22-0 in his college career, and he pitched 70 consecutive innings without allowing a run. Yamano was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 2nd round of the 2020 NPB draft; the scout was Takayuki Saito. He allowed 7 runs in 1 1/3 innings in 2021, and he missed the entire 2022 season due to injuries. Yamano was 1-3 with a 4.15 ERA in 2023, and he went 3-4 with a 6.08 ERA in 2024
