Biographical Information

Tadayuki Motegi signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1957, and he allowed 4 runs in 4 innings in 1958. He had a 3.71 ERA in 10 appearances in 1959, but he only pitched one game combined in the next three seasons. Motegi's ERA was 3.27 in 10 relief outings in 1963, and he announced his retirement after having a 3.00 ERA in 8 appearances in 1964.
