Biographical Information

Tadashi Honma was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 6th round of the 1999 NPB draft, and he recorded a 3.46 ERA in 29 relief outings in 2000. His ERA was 4.37 in 13 games in 2001, but he only got 9 appearances combined in the next three seasons. Honma pitched 11 games with a 1.93 ERA in 2005, and he announced his retirement in 2006. He later became an assistant coach for Nippon Bunri High School.

Overall, Honma went 5-3 with a 3.72 ERA, struck out 67 and pitched 94 1/3 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
