Biographical Information

Tadashi Higaki signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1954, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first two seasons. He hit .118/.167/.118 in 1956, and he played 87 games with a .241/.295/.318 batting line in 1957. Higaki recorded a .164/.211/.190 batting line in 1958, then his batting line was .200/.269/.224 in 1959. He was 3-for-27 in 1960, and he went 7-for-26 in 1961. Higaki only got 5 at-bats in 1962, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Higaki hit .199/.254/.242 with 92 hits in 7 seasons in NPB.
