Biographical Information

Susumu Orui was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 2nd round of the 2012 NPB draft, and he mainly stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first four seasons; he only played 2 games for the big club. The Giants traded him to the Nippon Ham Fighters for Masahiro Inui in 2016, and he was 0-for-6 that season. He went 0-for-2 in 13 games in 2017, and he announced his retirement in 2018.
