Biographical Information

Susumu Munesue signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 1952, and he only got 20 at-bats combined in his first six seasons. He went to the Hiroshima Carp in 1958, and he played 30 games with a .250/.265/.354 batting line. Munesue didn't get many chances as Hiroshima already had Takashi Tanaka at catcher, and he announced his retirement.
