Biographical Information

Susumu Momoi was drafted by the Lotte Orions in the 4th round of the 1980 NPB draft, and he went 2-for-11 in 1986. Those were his only appearances for the big club before he announced his retirement in 1988, and he was an umpire for the Pacific League from 1989 to 2001. He worked the 1996 NPB All-Star Game.
