Biographical Information

Steve Lane was on Team USA when they won the 1975 Intercontinental Cup, one of only two Intercontinental Cups the country ever won. He came one out shy of tossing a no-hitter versus the Canadian national team before Brent Hallett broke it up. He was taken by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 37th round of the 1977 amateur draft but did not sign. He later was CEO of Smith Seckman Reid.
