Biographical Information[edit]
Steve Bartlein has been a college coach.
He went to the 2011 Division III World Series as a player and hit .366/.422/.503 as a senior to win All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors. He was assistant coach at Brookfield Central High School in 2015-2016, assistant coach at Carroll University in 2016-2017 and head coach of Brookfield East High School in 2017. He was assistant coach at his alma mater from 2017-2022, then was hired to restart the defunct program at University of Wisconsin-River Falls, beginning play in '25.
