Biographical Information

Sterling Franco hit .253/.307/.357 in 43 games for the Martinsville Astros in 2000, and he recorded a .246/.318/.299 batting line for the Pittsfield Astros in 2001. He was headed to the Hiroshima Carp's Dominican Academy after leaving the Astros, and he played for the Guangdong Leopards of China in 2004. The Carp signed him in 2005, but he was 11-for-48 and his professional career ended.
