Biographical Information

Shunya Shimada has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Shimada was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 2nd round of the 2025 NPB draft, and he made his NPB debut on April 29, 2026 against the Chunichi Dragons; he got his first strikeout against Kosuke Ukai.
