Biographical Information

Soichi Arakawa signed with the Takahashi Unions in 1956, and he played 149 games with a .225/.269/.300 batting line in his first season. The Unions then merged with the Daiei Stars, and Arakawa didn't reach the top team in 1957 so he announced his retirement. He later coached Teikyo University.
