Biographical Information

Shuichiro Nakamura signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1959, and he hit .286/.306/.371 in 28 games in his first season. He played 53 games with a .233/.246/.283 batting line in 1960 (backing up Jun Hakota at 2B), and he was 9-for-44 in 1961. Nakamura's batting line fell to .195/.215/.338 in 1962, and he announced his retirement in 1963.

Overall, Nalamura hit .225/.239/.312 with 62 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
