Biographical Information

Shuichi Yamakawa was drafted by the Nankai Hawks in the 4th round of the 1982 NPB draft, and he had a 6.55 ERA in 7 games in 1983. He pitched 9 games with a 5.11 ERA in 1984, and he only got 9 more appearances before he announced his retirement in 1992. He later became the conditioning coach for the Hawks from 1996 to 2015.
