Biographical Information

Shuhei Uehara was drafted by the Yakult Atoms in the 7th round of the 1970 NPB draft, and he only got 12 at-bats combined for the top team before he announced his retirement in 1974. He won the batting title of the Eastern League with a .340 mark in 1973.
