Biographical Information

Shuhei Kato was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2016 NPB draft, and he only got 4 at-bats for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2020. The outfielder played 159 games in ni-gun, hitting .265/.326/.347; he was 8th in the Eastern League with 16 doubles in 2019.
