Biographical Information

Shozo Yoshinari signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 1964, and he pitched 3 games with a 13.50 ERA for the Lodi Crushers in 1966. He never reached the top team in Japan, and he announced his retirement that season. He was believed to be the first Japanese professional ambidextrous pitcher.
