Biographical Information[edit]
Shozo Nakatsu signed with the Nankai Hawks in 1949, and he had a 4.71 ERA in 7 games in his first season. He then went 0-4 with a 7.94 ERA in 1950, and he was turned into an outfielder. Nakatsu hit .283/.338/.383 in 35 games in 1951, and he played 48 games with a .245/.322/.358 batting line in 1952. He was 9-for-38 in 1953, then he announced his retirement.
