Biographical Information

Shota Morimoto played for the independent Fukui Nexus Elephants from 2011 to 2012, and he was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the 5th round of the 2012 NPB draft. He had a 5.90 ERA in 25 appearances in 2013, but he only got 2 more appearances before he announced his retirement in 2016.
