Biographical Information

Shohei Habu was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 4th round of the 2011 NPB draft; the scout was Yoshinori Ogata. However, he only got 9 at-bats combined for the big club he announced his retirement in 2018. He hit .283 in the minors, twice topping .300, but not playing enough to finish on the Western League leaderboards either of those seasons.
