Biographical Information

Shogo Yagi was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 6th round of the 2012 NPB draft, and he allowed 6 runs in 4 2/3 innings in 2013. He stayed in the minors in 2014, then he pitched 18 games with a 3.96 ERA in 2015. Yagi was sent back to the minors in 2016, and the Fighters traded him to the Yakult Swallows for Toshihiro Sugiura. However, he only got 3 more appearances for the top team before he announced his retirement in 2019.
