Biographical Information[edit]
Shogo Hashimoto signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1937, but he only pitched one game and left the team. He then returned in 1940 with the Hankyu Braves, and he had a 1.80 ERA in 3 starts that season. Hashimoto was 6-1 with a 1.04 ERA in 1941, then he had a 2-1 record with a 4.05 ERA in 1942 and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Hashimoto was 9-2 with a 2.02 ERA, struck out 36 and pitched 128 2/3 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
